Welcome to the un-normal life of a 17 year old girl. Not much to say but its here so read it. (fiction).

Some people just have really bad reputations weather it be in school, work, or just out in what they call the “real” world, as if this one were in is fake. This was especially true when it came to Alexis Bottomly the 11th grade, 17 year old that had a reputation for crime and fighting. She fought anytime someone made her mad, weather they be girls or boys. Everyone has someone at their school that is known as the rebel or whatever you wanna call it but Alexis had something worse than that. Added up she had spent about 3 or 4 years in juvenile jails and group homes, what seemed like thousands of detentions, and suspensions. She was kicked out of one school and fired from her only job for showing up high. Seems like nothing would ever amount to anything for this girl. She would be 4 credits behind and have to re-do her 12th grade even if she did pass all of her classes and that was highly un-likely because even at her group home they couldn’t make her do homework or study and to add she never paid attention at school. She did what she wanted, when she wanted it seemed like or at least what she could get away with doing. No one at work or school really knew why she was like that but there were rumors that she just didn’t have a home for most of her life so crime was her escape but that wasn’t true, she just came from a crappy home. Her Dad used to beat her and leave scars, she was raped by her own uncle when she was 10, and to top it off there was never food in the house because her parents didn’t ever have money. That resulted in growing marijuana in the basement and selling it. Having Marijuana at her finger tips like that make it easy to get hooked on the stuff. It was the influence for a lot of her crime but still she could say she wasn’t at bad as her parents. They had one car that Alexis stole to get away from her life and start over somewhere else when she was 15 and that was her only felony(stealing the car) but they got it back when she got caught, they sold drugs and were addicted to marijuana and cocaine. To top that off they were huge alcoholics but whatever. She wasn’t with them anymore. Now you may ask how i know so much about the girl and this isn’t all of the stuff i know. I know everything about this girl and its simply because i am Alexis. I live in a group home now after all my crimes but that’s the hell i used to live in. I don’t really like it here but every time i look at the cuts on my wrist i find it somewhat useful. I’m looking forward to being a better person and after i graduate high school I’ll be the first ever in my family. And maybe I’ll find the courage to go to a technical college but until then I’m here
