Short story novel, story, short, good, great.

The sunny slow lulling afternoon yawns and moons through the dozy town. It is a quite day in the city. I walk slowly past the big church, which looks a peculiar shade of orange in the afternoon sunlight. My strawberry ice cream gently melts and and starts dripping onto my sweaty trainers. All the surrounding shops are closed and graffiti ridden. opposite a gray shop with a scarcely dresses manikin posing in it’s window, There are some kids playing in a fountain. I decide to stop and watch the children playing their games and basking in the sun, after a little while my feet get very hot and they start to ache.

So I walked on, until I saw on an old wooden bench. It had writing on it, and just as my eyes properly focused to see what it said, Someone called my name, it was John. He was wearing a pair orange shorts and a white t-shirt bearing the message: ”I Heart summer”. he sat down and we talked, or should i say he talked , i never got past hello. He talked about a girl whom he liked, i couldn’t careless so after 10 minute or so, I told him i had to finish my shopping and would be on my way. I was gone, leaving him hot and bothered on the bench, before he could point out that all the shops where closed on sunday.

So there i was walking once again in the afternoon glow, only my shadow and me. There were some dogs in an ally, but they were asleep. I thought to myself, it is the best way to survive a hot summers day: to sleep. at this point i’m headed for my bike which is parked down the road. About half way there I see a figure in a sombrero slumped on some steps, I rush over to if the man is alright, it turns out he’s asleep.

when i reach my bike it red hot and impossible to ride I’m stock in this sweaty, shitty hell hole. I’m so frustrated that i reach into my bag and takeout my 9mm and blowout my brains.

the end
