A piece of my story that I am writing.

She walks into my office. The sweet scent of citrus fills my nostrils as she walks closer to me with that natural runway model like walk of hers. Her wavy brown hair flows to the side as the wind blows in through my open window. Her red trench coat defines her curvy figure and causes me to sway my head in unison.

“I have a job for you.” she says and her voice snaps me out of my daze.

One of the voices in my head tells me to say something cool. The other is telling me to stand up and greet her properly. I tell them that it would be a really bad idea for me to stand right now.

“How can I be of assistance?” I say in a really bad James bond impression. I can tell that both of my inner voices are mentally smacking themselves right now at my embarrassing impersonation.

She smiles and hands me a folder and tells me that she needs the man in the picture found. She doesn’t want him brought in or even confronted. She tells me that she simply wants his location. Says that he has been missing for a week and she is really concerned. She says that she can make it worth my while and immediately my other voices are yelling together for me to take the job.

I clear my throat. “Is there any details that I need to know.” my voices tell me to not ask questions and to just say yes.

“All the information you need is in the folder.” She leans close to me and whispers in my ear. “You are the only one I can trust.”

I smile through my face hugging mask and she winks at me as she turns and walks away.

“By the way,” she says as she opens the door. “Nice Boner.”
