An experience that some of you may relate with.
This is story happened to someone I personally know. Let’s hide her by the name Alice. You see, Alice was a nice girl. She studies in a prestigious school and is diligent in every way but she is a typical teenager who doesn’t belong to the “Queen Bees” or the “Nerds”. In her 8th grade, she had a classmate named “Mark”. Mark became her friend because they were always together due to their seating arrangements and stuff. Alice fell in love with Mark. Months after,Alice knew from a friend that Mark had a crush on her. As the year ended, they had different sections for the next school year. Mark belonged to section B while Alice belonged to section A. During the summer vacation, Jessica confessed to Mark that she liked him in the first few months of being classmates, and lying, she told him that it already ended there.
Alice had a best friend named Jessica, whom she is good friends with since her 5th grade. Unexpectedly, Jessica became the classmate of Mark. Though humble, loving and simple, Jessica belonged to the “popular” group because she was pretty and talented. Alice became quite nervous with this as she thought that Mark might like Jessica too. And she was right. Mark did like Jessica and they even had a mutual understanding. A few months passed and that “understanding” slowly faded away. Jessica had another man whom she fell in love with originally. But Mark wasn’t still over Jessica and kept bothering her even though Jessica loved him no more.
Of course, knowing this, Alice was hurt. I think that until now, she still likes Mark.
Story two:
Moving on with the chain, this story still concerns Alice.
So as I have said, she belonged to section A wherein she met a guy named John. John was one of the most popular guy in their batch due to his connections, talent, brains, looks(?). As I have expected, Alice also fell in love with John because they were always together. Unfortunately, John shared a secret to ALice telling her that he is “almost-in-a-relationship” with a semi-popular girl. Alice was never able to confess her love her John. Instead, she told John that she is still in love with Mark. (Mark and and semi-popular girl are classmates. Oh, and in their class. They are sometimes the “couple” because they are always together, accepting the fact that she likes Jessica.)
In their section, Alice has Tracy as her “room-best friend”. Just the other day, Alice accidentally read the notebook of John. She saw a page wherein Tracy wrote some reminders regarding their group works and below these writings are the words “I love you, I just can’t tell you.” Beside this statement is an unreadable hand writhing, but it resembles the word Tracy.
Does Alice really always fall in love with the wrong guy? Will she ever find someone whom she can truly love?
