Four weeks to save Washington.

The president of the United States was immediately given the letter one it was received. The letter was from a criminal organisation, KAD (Killing, assassination and drugs), and they knew instantly from the distinctive sticker placed on the envelope. The American government was well aware of KAD, what they were capable of, and what they were. Whatever this letter contained, it must be treated with the utmost seriousness.

Obama opened the letter, preparing for what was going to happen. The letter was short and sweet, containing very little words. All it said was: “You have 4 weeks to give us the sum of 1 billion dollars. If you don’t comply, all the children in Washington D.C. will die at exactly 12:00pm in 4 weeks. Meet us at the windows factory, at 124 Terian street, at 11:00pm. Also, no funny business, or the kids will die instantly.”

The presidents’ first reaction was shock. He doubted it was fake, not many people were aware of KAD. He knew he had to call a meeting, this was seriously urgent. This had to be sorted out, and fast. The president arranged a meeting at the Pentagon in exactly 24 hours, so at 2:00pm the next day.

Surely enough, in 24 hours sharp, the meeting begun. The president read the letter aloud, and discussed the situation. “We have two options. Pay the money, or we find out whatever is going to kill the children, and eliminate it.” The head of national defence stood and said: “One billion dollars is outrageous. We must find out what they’re using to kill the kids. We can’t negotiate the fee; we have no contact with them.”

The president, while every ones attention was aimed at the head of national defence, face palmed. When the head of national defence stopped talking, Obama stood up and said: “They can’t go through the streets and kill all the children. That wouldn’t go far, would be stupid and isn’t really their style. They must be aiming this at children for a reason. So, what do children get that adults don’t?”

The president waited for a response. This wasn’t going to end well…
