A Dose To Heaven

“Is it done yet?! Hurry, I need my dose!”

“Meh, Hold on, my hands are shaking…”

“As always, the needle is big and sharp…”

“We’ll you always know that we can share my needle, it’s thin and orgasmic—ok, get ready, tap your vein with two fingers, do it stronger you bafoon!”

“Aight, hand it over!”

With the pain, I am overcome the by the fabulous feeling of relaxation, and my mind floats away, into a land of rainbows and tall green grass. I start living, my second life…

“Wake up you, you…”

“John, no, stop!”

As I open my eyes, past the cheapest vegetable salad I was eating, which was frozen to my mustache, I saw a young handsome lady in some white overcoat with white fur on the hood. Though in a way she was, I realized she was holding some oversized man’s hand. Who, I’m guessing, was about to smack me. I looked around myself, I see… …my hand still frozen in a shape of a cup which I think I was using to ask for change, a fancy car, the one I always see in my dreams—a Mustang, and my favorite begging place, the small Iki shop’s steps on which I was sitting.

That John interrupted my treasure hunt of me imagining a map of Vilnius’s Old Town where I was the X to actually understand where I was. I roll my eyes and glaze into him—still having no clear sight or understanding what’s going on.

“I hate you, you… Ah! You drug addicts ruin the view of old town, why sit here and ask for money while you’re frozen in place while eating your salad, huh?”

“Leave him alone John! He’s just a beggar!”

Protected by a lady I know nothing about, while everything in my eyes went darker and darker…
