Here is the short adventure from the cat’s point of view.
“Is this a court or something?” I asked, now having regained my balance and my sense of sarcasm.
“No, but I’m still going to sentence you,” the cat said, now seemingly happy so that he has taken his supposed “revenge.” He turned towards the group of cats again. “Attention, attention. I have decided on how to administer the sentence.” All the cats stopped howling and looked at him.
“We will do 150 scratches and two surprises at the end. I have shortened it quite a bit because she’s a girl,” he said. I hissed at him. I hate it when people take me lightly because I’m a girl. Is there anything wrong with that? All the cats were confused, seemingly because the leader never administered surprises. “Line up!”
All the cats lined up in front of me. It was time. I closed my eyes and waited, still lying on the floor. I felt the leader move his paw down my body onto my tail so the cats could have more space to slash. He pressed down so I couldn’t get away, but not on the space place where Jess sat, so it didn’t hurt much. What I was worried about was the slashes that were coming.
Suddenly I felt a trio of shallow cuts open on my stomach. I winced in pain. 1… I counted.
Another. 2…
3…
4…
5…
40 Minutes Later
146… I gasped out loud and winced.
147… I winced even harder.
148… I could tell that some of the cats were feeling bad for me now, because their slashes were becoming softer.
149… Almost… There… Mustn’t loose consciousness now…
150! I both gasped in pain and sighed in relief at the same time. I was now flinching every second or so because of the pain. I then remembered the two surprises. I opened my eyes and looked down my body. It was scratched so much that you could barely see the brownish fur underneath. Either that or it was because of the blood. I don’t know. I looked down at the cat leader. He was grinning at me. Such a sadist. He then motioned to one of the cats to put her paw down on my chest. She did, giving me another spasm of pain.
“I will now administer the two surprises,” I heard the leader say. He moved over to my tail again, and raising his paw, smashed it down right on the joint that Jess sat on, breaking it. An eruption of pain surged into my head and flowed there, destroying all barriers I had put up to hold my screams from escaping my head.
