Faith and trust in whatever we believe will pay. This is revealed in this folklore.

Once upon a time, a village was affected by severe drought and the people were greatly affected as they could not carry on with farming, their prime occupation.
One day, all the people decided to go to the village temple and pray to God by way of special pooja and offerings. Just then a little girl joined them. The villagers were surprised to see an umbrella in her hand.
The villagers asked the girl, “Why are you carrying the umbrella? It is neither sunny nor rainy.”
The girl immediately answered, “When we complete our pooja and prayers in the temple, we need to come home without getting drenched in the rains, needn’t we?”
The villagers were indeed touched by the little girl’s faith in God and her staunch feeling that God will answer their prayers.
The story tells us that we should put in efforts and hard work and at the same time have trust and belief in our deeds. Positive thinking and approach will certainly pay when we persevere to do our duty with sincerity and dedication.
