A story everyone should read.
Ally Jackson used to live in New Jersey, her dad and mom was working while she was in school when she got home her dad was sitting in the kitchen, he asked her to come sit down he had something that he wanted to tell her just as he was about to say they were moving Ally’s mom walked in. She went into the kitchen and sat down beside her husband, and he began to tell them that they have to move to Hawaii for his job because he got promoted.
Ally was upset and did not want to leave her friends behind but she told herself its not for her its for the family and she was happy that her dad got a promotion, so she said she would start packing and tomorrow she will let everyone know that it was her last day. The next day she went to school, her friends met her in the hallway before first period started, she was upset and she told her friends she had to move but she would e-mail them and still keep in touch with them, her friends asked where she was moving to and she told them Hawaii they were upset and bummed out so they said ok promise when you graduate high school you will come stay a couple weeks with us. Ally made the promise and she walked to her first class, when the bell rang she went to the office and told the principle that it was her last day and she was moving.
When school was over Alley, walked home and her dad already had the truck and u-haul packed and they were ready to hit to road before people started getting off work, Ally’s mom said that she will have new friends where they are going and not to worry so much because she still can keep in touch with the friends she has. While driving on the road they passed her friends house and they were standing out side waving good bye as they passed by, Ally waved back as she started crying. After awhile driving they stopped to get something to eat and find a place to sleep, they found a little bed and breakfast so they stopped to rest . Something told Ally that where they are going she will have a lot of fun and she will be able to go back and see her friends, as much as Ally wanted to believe that she didn’t.
