A short story. Please tell me if it is good!
A shadow arouse from a narrow ally street, just as dusk arrived and the light faded, leaving a blood scarf covering the horizon billowing in the late Summer’s breeze. The city was now at the mercy of the creatures that prowled the night.
As it stepped out of the shadows the eyes of the creature glowed red, the sharp teeth cover by its mouth seemed like island with saliva as the sea. Only once a month can the creature salvage on the poor, sad, rich but mostly children.
The yellow array of light from the lamppost pretended the creature was not there. Thought the dim light night it roamed, stopping occasionally to sniff the moon shine night.
He had found his first victim on the streets, the ones that no one cares about, the ones that have nobody left to love or be loved. The ones people do not notice disappearing off the streets. She looked at the monster and ran, ran faster that she has ever do so before, however the monster was clever and by far much more stealthy. For the mean time the monster zigzags from one payment to the next gentle jogging behind the soon-to-be victim. Over was much faster that the playing, the creature gave a snort of laughter.
While the monster was indulging in his prey a black van slowly crept towards the monster. The monster looked as if it is in no trouble; no trouble in the world can or could disturb him. The black door of the van slid open and a man in a black suit and matching trousers stepped out, he reached for a metallic object. The creature snapped around and growled at the man.
‘Enjoying your meal?’ said the man emotionlessly.
‘I was before you came,’ was the reply.
‘I see that you coat has grown furrier than when I last saw you,’ complimented the man.
‘Get to the point!’ said the monster, much more dangerous that ever before.
For the first time a blink of emotion crossed the man’s face but not fast enough to hide form the monster. ‘You know what I have to say.’
‘Um… educate me again.’
‘So be it, the Force is rising many of our race has fallen victim to them we need your help otherwise the World will be truly be a world of peace.’
‘And if I say NO?’
‘That answer is not an option’
‘You know full we that you are not match for me, or the drivers and you put together.’
A moment of silence. It was broken by the monster’s snort again, ‘so the Force has found a half witted leader?’
Now it was the man’s turn to laugh,’ it has been rumored that he is the final chosen one. The one to eradicate us from the world, he is immortal.’
‘So this is your bargaining chip one that I can not refuse, a challenger that is worthy against the likes of me…I shall join you once I’m done feeding.’ The monster was gone in one conclusive snort and dived into the black air.
The man turned his back and moved towards the van. With every step he strained himself from joining the monster. With one step left the turn and transformed with ease to a duplicate of the creature and he roamed into the innocent streets.
A whisper can be heard, ‘he was wrong, I have grown stronger than he.’
