A story for Lost Zombies online.
I stared at the concrete ceiling, I didn’t know how long I had been doing it for, all I knew is that it had on huge spider web crack along the length of it. Shifting again, I could feel the leather restraints holding me to the bed. My lips where parched and pain buzzed across my body, on top of that I had one massive urge to scratch my back. Swallowing air again I searched for a way out, my feet and arms where bound and there was a strap across my neck and torso as well. In the distance the sound of footsteps echoed down a hallway, accompanied by the distant chatter. Where the fuck was I? and then I blacked out again.
Slowly pulling my eyes open I saw a blurred face above me, a girl, 15 with long wavy hair and blue eyes looked down on me.
“Hello,” she said, I was shocked at first but then words oozed out of my mouth
“Water,” I croaked and to my surprise I was supplied with the cool liquid, wetting my mouth before draining to the back of my throat. Hydraulics wined in protest as my torso was gently lifted up. My view became better as the bed I was lying in slowly converted into a chair. Around me where five people although I had only been away of the girl at the time, “Where am I?” I mumbled.
“Safe,” Again I tried to talk but the result was fruitless ass darkness consumed me.
My eyes flashed open in a second, adrenaline pumping through my system. I was still in the same bed with the back resting up. Four people stood round me.
“Where am I?” I said surprised at how easy the words flew from my mouth.
“Welcome to your new home, Anastasia a safe house four survivors all round” a man with dark hair with rough stubble said.
“We are your new family, I am Doctor Colling, medical expert at this strong hold, before you ask any more questions can you please answer some of our own?” A white bearded man on my left stated.
“Sure”
“okay, first up, what is your name,” I thought for a second, trying to recall memories.
“I don’t know,” I said in defeat.
“Okay then, do you have any memory at all?” Thinking again I was disappointed with the same answer.
“No”
“Very well, We have pumped you full of drugs and hopefully your memory will come back soon, seeing as you can still talk I suppose you haven’t lost your skill set, I have other patients to attend soon and you’re as good to go so I will see you later,” and with that Doctor Colling left the room, leaving me kind or shocked. One of the other three noticed my facial expression and laughed.
“Oh don’t mind him; he’s just an old fart who’s been rather hectic lately, by the way I’m Connor,” the man with the dark hair and stubble said. “That’s Robin, the red nut who’s mine and that’s Jacob.” Robin was dressed in a red jump suite, her red hair streamed down her back and Jacob, Jacob was blonde with black streaks running through his hair and his muscle was only just held in by tight green shirt, I noticed that they all wore different colors and all quite solid. Thousands of questions buzzed in my head. “Oh well… time to get you up.”
