A Summary of Book 1

  Ripley Kamly, a young boy turned king, has traveled wide and far through the lands of Daginan. He conquered the king in the small town turned kingdom known as Gorville. Ripley also destroyed the evil tyrant, Ragnorak, in the depth of the castle… or so he thought.

Prologue

  A man was out jogging in the broad sunlight in the small city of Dyer. The day was heated, but the cunning man new what to do when it came to a problem. He was going through the park, and then he was suddenly snatched by a man in the bushes.

  The cunning man, Ripley, struggled to get free of his fiendish foe. The battle between the two men was so distressing that both men soon dispatched all their energy into utterly annihilating his opponent in the scuffle.

  Soon, the man chanted the words Ripley knew would create a magical portal back to Daginan from Earth! He had to stop this, so he struck the man in the face fiercely. The man soon dispensed all of the air in his lungs to say, “Fool! Ripley Kamly of Daginan, you were not meant to be the ruler of our beautiful planet!”

  From the voice of the man, Ripley decided that the man was Regly, Ragnorak’s royal duke.

  Before Ripley could think of the word “word”, he was hearing Regly’s scratchy, unearthly voice speaking an incantation that would knock him cold…
