I t   is   my   humble    opinion   that   poetry   was   born   along   with   “srushti”   or   the

Creation    of    the   Universe. Whatever may   be   the various   definitions   of poetry, the

Sound    system     or   the   governing   principle   of   the   universe    is    poetry,   musical.

OM,    the   Pranava   mantra, is   poetry,   has   musical   notations, poetry   did   happen   then

Onwards.   Another    elucidation   is the VEDAS ,  the  sound  system   heard  by the   Rishis,

The  Divine  voices    heard    by   the   sages  , transmitted   to us , are  nothing  but  poetry.

Poetry    is   ageless,   unaging,   ceaseless, goes along with cosmic  rhythm of creation,

And procreation and evolution. It is happening for poetry, a mystery and miracle.
