Just a little something I wrote.
It was a dark and very stormy night on October 29, 1986. Even though it was almost Halloween and everyone hearing all the legends of ghost, murders, monsters, and so forth; it did not stop Cristina Golden. She was the popular one, she had everything, including the cutest guy in school, all the friends, and captain of the cheer squad. The only thing she didn’t have is the kindness, sweetness, caring bone in her body. Although on the other hand her boyfriend was just amazing. His name was Johnathan Bradley. Even though he was the quater back on the football team, captain on the basketball team, and anything else you could think of, he was still the sweetest guy in the world. Johnathan had brown hair and brown eyes; a very simple mixture but he sure could work it fabulously.
Cristina ,like i said wasn’t nice, always picked on people especially this one girl. Now this girl was just amazing in any way. Her name was Amber Lowe. Amber had blonde hair and baby blue eyes, with a few freckles on her checks. She was captain off the chess team, the debate team, the golf team, and class president. Even with all that Cristina still didn’t like her. I bet your wondering why. It’s because Johnathan and Amber used to have a thing for each other. Well obviously Christina didn’t like that one bit so she figured if she made everybody hate Amber that Johnathan wouldn’t talk to her anymore but she was very wrong. Even though they really didn’t show it to each, Johnathan and Amber were in love with one another, but Cristina would not let herself believe that.
That night there was a Halloween party/dance at the school. Cristina went hoping that she could make someone jealous. Johnathan went with her of course. Amber only went because she was part of the decorating committee. She really didn’t want to go because she didn’t want to see her true love with someone so mean as Cristina. So even though she didn’t want to, Amber sat there the whole time watching them dance together. She noticed something very strange out of the corner of her eye. It looked like a man dresses in dark colors but she couldn’t make out who it was so she just assumed that it was 2 teenagers going to do something they shouldn’t. Then she looked back at Cristina and Johnathan, they weren’t there. She looked all around the dance floor and then it hit her like a ton of bricks. She thought it must have been them that she saw sneaking off. Amber was hurt and just wanted to cry like she never had before. so she ran out of the auditorium into the court yard. She felt safe there and confident. There was a angel statue standing on a fountain of wishes. Amber made a wish out loud, an unthinkable wish.
Out of nowhere she heard a female scream, that sound like they were in pain and suffering. She went running in the direction that she heard it and there she found her unthinkable wish. Cristina was laying there drowning in her own blood. Her dress was now red when it was white as snow. Johnathan sat there next to her yelling for help at the top his lungs. Amber was stunned, she didn’t know what to do. She was getting light headed from so much blood puddling around Cristina. Then everything went black…
Amber woke up in the hospital with a god awful headache. When she went to sit up she heard someone tell her to lay back down and helped her lay down gently. She looked around for the voice and she found who it was. It was Johnathan, with his big brown puppy dog eyes looking at her. He told Amber that when she passed out she hit her head on the brick wall awfully hard. Then he went on to tell her that Cristina was dead and that she was murder y someone. Amber’s eyes got huge and she thought how could this happen it was only a wish, its not like the actually come true, especially ones like that but that one did. And she regretted making that wish with every bone in her body.
