Shelby is a shy girl. Rocky is an outgoing boy. They met at school. Their friendship started to crumble when Rocky met Daphne.
Shelby is a shy girl. She seldom makes new friends until she met Rocky at the same school. Rocky is an extravert compared to Shelby. He loves to meet new people at the parties or gigs.
There is a Christian concert conducted by the community church. Every teenager in the community is invited. Shelby loved to come and wanted Rocky to be her date in that concert so she invited Rocky. On the other hand, Rocky agreed to come with her at the concert. At the concert, they enjoyed good music and free foods.
This is the most unforgettable night for Shelby because she is treated like a lady.
Shelby asked Rocky to join her in a group study. But, Rocky made an excuse because he has a band practice. Shelby understands him. She knew that Rocky is so busy with other extra-curricular activities. Even she is sad, she still can handle her emotions.
Actually, Shelby did not expect much from Rocky. She just enjoyed their friendship. Isn’t she so pure?
Rocky met Daphne at one of his gigs. She is one of his adoring fans. As a matter of fact, she is a hot chick. She is an active cheerleader and member of the student council at the same time. She is an extravert compared to Shelby. Rocky thinks Daphne is cool. They really enjoy each other’s company until he forgets about Shelby.
Shelby is so sad since Rocky neglected her. She thought he enjoys his company with Daphne so much. She thought that Rocky doesn’t like her because she is not as cool as Daphne.
To overcome her lonliness and frustration, she attended the dance class. She throws out all her sad emotions through her dance moves until she is ready to move on and meet someone new.
Then, she met George, one of the peer councelor in the community’s church. That concert she attended lead her to the community church. George is not a typical average Joe compared to Rocky. But, he is fun to be with. He has sense of humor. He sees things different from other people’s persective. He shares his wonderful ideas to Shelby. Finally, Shelby found a real friend in George. This friendship is not founded on emotions or feelings but in a solid truth, harmony, and loyalty.
Then, she met Anton, one of the attendants of digital art workshop in the community. Anton is a carefree compared to George. He sees things different from other people’s perspective. Unlike George, he is an extravert and really loves photogography and making videos. He shares his wisdom to Shelby, and Shelby loves his wonderful ideas about life and enjoys his company. But, Anton and his family has to move to another community because his father was assigned there to work. Shelby is not sad because she can still communicate with Anton through cellphones and internet.
Then, Lydia, Shelby’s childhood friend, came back from Europe. Her family decided to stay here in the community. Lydia is fun to be with. She loves sports as she enjoys shopping. Shelby is very happy when Lydia came back from Europe because she can enjoy any activities with Lydia. Shelby also learned how to play sports too. She also enjoys shopping with Lydia.
Then, Shelby met Jesse from her dance school. Jesse has some issues with her family. Her family is not perfect compared to other families in the community. Shelby applied what she learned from George. She became the accountability partner of Jesse. Then, Jesse becomes optimistic about life. She has a stable job at the ice cream parlor. She also excells in her academic.
