Two kids save the world from Abe Lincoln’s wrath.
The year is 1864. Abraham Lincoln was one of the people’s people. Everybody liked him, even blacks. Abe Lincoln was also a hero. He stopped slavery in the south and helped win the war. One day while Abe was enjoying himself… It had been done.
A sharp bang had been heard and pandemonium quickly spreaded. Women scrambled toward the exit. Men went out to investigate what had happened. Abraham Lincoln had been murdered.
With a bullet wound in the back of his head, everyone knew that he was done for. He lived a good life, leading freedom and justice wherever he went. It was a silent funeral. All that could be heard were the cracks of thunder, and a downpour of rain.
“I’m going to beat you there!” shouted Miranda.
“That’s only cause you got a head start!” replied Gerik.
“Alright, class is now in session.” said the teacher as she settled down in her chair. ”Today’s lesson will be about Abraham Lincoln. Does anyone know him?” No one raised his or her hand. “No one? Well then we better start right away!”
After the bell rang they immediately followed their friends over to their house for a birthday party. As the party came to an end and the guests exited the house, the wind grew colder by the second.
“That was the coolest birthday party I’ve been to!” exclaimed Miranda.
“Yeah, and especially when-“
Gerik’s voice got trailed off when a blast of icy cold wind hit him. Both of them slowly turned to see that the wind was coming from an old graveyard with the sign that read “KEEP OUT”
“Hey Miranda, isn’t that the place that Abe Lincoln was buried?”
“Yeah…and it has a “Keep out” sign…”
A small rumbling sound occurred and a small round object popped out of a grave entitled “Here lies Abraham Lincoln R.I.P.”. It was… a penny.
“Finally, I’m free. Curse those Confederates who put me in that grave. I’ll show them not to play with guns! I, Abraham Lincoln will separate the South from the United States!” laughed Abe, the evil penny.
“Oh my god! Abe is back and he wants to separate the south from us!” said Miranda.
