Two people from different countries accidently meet online through a guessed e-mail address.

If you would like to see how the story unfolds or help the story unfold go to my author page Kelly Renée on chainbooks.

It was a long summer day and Jenna was interested in adding friends on her Instant Messenger (IM) list. She sat there trying to remember names, but when you’re 15 you can’t always remember your best friends name from 2nd grade. Jenna grabbed her year books and decided to go through the names, putting first and last names into the email address. Time passed and she added a few friends from school. Tomorrow might be more interesting, I’m going to add everyone from all my yearbooks.

The next day she added more friends out of her yearbooks like she said she would do. Jenna started having memories of other people outside of the yearbooks that happened to be friends with some of her friends. At last she ran out of names to add that created a first and last name email address that was approved by the server. So, she started adding first names with bits and pieces to the last name (for example: Jacob Jordan was now jacobjor) eventually Jenna decided she was finished adding all these email addresses.

The following day Jenna jumped online to see if anyone accepted her friend request. A few people had andthe pictures all matched that they put on their IM Profile except one. There was an acceptance note attached to one saying, “Thank you for your friend request. Though I don’t know anyone by your name I am going to accept anyways.” Jenna thought to herself: no big deal maybe this will be an interesting person, they seem sweet.

Jenna started talking to this guy, Matthew Morisi.  They never revealed their age or location the whole time talking. Matt told Jenna about his childhood and in return she discussed hers. They seem to have a lot in common.

Years go by, their friendship still holds on tightly. Jenna logs in one day to see that Matt has Italian words written within his status, “È l’amore dall’anima più forte di amore dal cuore? (meaning: Is love from the soul stronger than love from the heart?).  As Jenna read and translated it online she realized two things, one he knew Italian and two he has a deep soul. Knowing what the words meant Jenna IM’d him any ways to ask what it meant. Matt responded telling her exactly what the translation said it was. She then asked, so what do you think the answer is? Matt responded back, “Well I think they both are just as powerful, the heart can fall in love and be deep in love with the other person, andthe soul you can have the same kindof connection. I think that’s why they call some people soul-mates. You can be in love with your soul-mate. A lot of people don’t always find their soul mate but they do fall madly in love to make up for not being connected to each other’s souls”. Jenna was completely surprised by the words Matt typed out. Matt then asked back in return wondering what her thoughts were. Jenna started letting the words flow through her fingers as she typed back, “Well, I think the soul is the strongest love of the two but love from the heart is a very powerful thing. The love that is just from the heart is so powerful you will do anything for it. Soul love is deeper within you and stronger”.  Matt typed back, “I love your passion for the topic; it shows the beauty from within you”.
