This is only a rough draft. I will be adding more as well for it is not finished. I am only loading this up so people can see a preview of an upcoming story. Enjoy!

Once upon a time in a land that isn’t as far as you’d expect it to be, there lived a boy by the name of John Bark. This was no ordinary boy because he had long orange hair and traveled with his good friend Kitty Kitty Meow Meow. Kitty Kitty Meow Meow had always been John Bark’s friend even after John had found Kitty eating his last chicken leg. Little did they know that they would be going on an epic journey to the grocery store. And so it begins.

“John! John!” yelled his mother as she was preparing to make some cookies. “What?” asked John as he was watching t.v. in the living room. John got up and went into the kitchen to find his mom drinking a bottle of scotch. “John, I need you to go to the grocery store because I’m all out of sugar for the cookies.”

“But mom, your not even making any cookies! Your just getting drunk again!”

“Don’t talk to me like that! Now GO!”

John was pushed outside of his house by his mother and so John decided he might as well go buy the sugar anyway. As John was making his way down the street his best friend Kitty Kitty Meow Meow had pounced out of the bushes and tackled him to the ground.

“Kitty! What are you doing? I could have been hurt!”

“Exactly, could have been.”

Kitty got up off of John and began to wipe the dirt off of his pants. He gave a reaching hand out to John to help him up.

“Thanks. So what are you doing here anyway?”

“I don’t know. I was just minding my own business and then i saw something shiny in the bushes so i went to check it out. Turns out it was just a gold Rolex watch.”

Kitty began to frown as he pulled the Rolex out of his pants and showed it to John. John screamed, “That’s amazing! Those things are worth thousands of dollars!” Kitty began to look at the watch again. Kitty said, “Do you want it then? Seems useless to me.”

“Well, if you don’t want it. Sure!”

“So what are you doing all the way out here?”

“Well, for one thing I live right there” John pointed to his house, which was not more than 15 yards away. “And besides, I’m going to the grocery store to buy some sugar because my mother is making some cookies.” Kitty’s eyes grew large.

Terrible. Poor writing, clumsy grammar, vague & derivative characters. Who’s your audience? Doesn’t seem written either for children or adults. Can’t imagine what would make you want to invite others to read this.
