Have you ever wondered why there are so few wonder drugs, or miracle pills, or even amazing technological changes in places that really need them. Sure advancements are made, but they are usually slow and are long-term projects…..so now I present to you my latest conspiracy theory:

WHY HUGE CHANGES NEVER OCCUR FAST ENOUGH!!

Okay, to start of, put yourself in an inventors shoes. Don’t pick any famous inventers but imagine yourself to be on the top of your field whatever that may be. You are the best of the best and a lot of hopes rest on your shoulders. Now imagine that you create a wonder pill, that when taken, cure’s all ailments, all diseases and is quite easy to make.

Now of course , you look at the implications …… you will be known as the worlds greatest inventor , you will be praised by all countries , you will earn millions , and you may even be called “the savior of the human race” . Huge isn’t it….what you wouldn’t give to be in this guy’s shoes huh? Having everything you ever dreamed of …..doing anything you wanted …….being respected worldwide. Just like in a fairy tale, you would live happily ever after……The end….

Or not.

Just think about it…. Do you really expect to prosper just by inventing something great. These are the most probable outcomes.

You will  get assassinated, bribed, bartered or permanently scarred in the events that followed your creating the invention.

The reason you ask?

Well, the same reason why almost nothing gets done in almost all fields.

Corruption.

Such a simple yet Powerful word. Do you think that all the Medicine manufacturers are going to park their backside’s onto a chair and say “ good for you man! Excellent work!!!” . Well let me tell you something , these guys didn’t become the heads of huge corporations just because they petted kittens and grew petunias in their window boxes. These guys are ruthless. They will stop at nothing to try and get hold of your invention , either by giving you unimaginable amounts of money or by killing you and taking it .Even if you had a deal with one corporation , do you think the others wouldn’t want you to make your wonder pill for them? They would kidnap you, bribe you  and most of all ,make you a wanted man……or woman as the case may seem. You may be executed for selling your secrets or maybe even not selling your secrets and the most common of all, to keep your secret from spreading.

The news headlines will probably be: Breaking news! The creator of the new wonder drug has been found dead in his villa pool. Police say he died of mysterious circumstances.”

“Mysterious circumstances”…….Give me a break.

So now the last question to answer is “ If the corporation guys get it , why don’t they patent it and make the advancement themselves” …… I have given some thought about this , and I have come up with a satisfactory answer.

Corruption again.

You see, if the corporation patents the new pill they become as endangered as the original inventor. And the main targets are the guys who accepted the deal in the first place.
