The year 2023 was a good year, at first. There where no wars raging, allowing all nations to connect and live in harmony. This allowed trade to progress and food was plentiful for all, and everyone was happy. Kids had every toy and video-game they would ever need. This couldn’t last forever though, because one dark, calm, night, a meteor landed. This was the start of a whole new war.

How the war started was obvious. The meteor had simply hurtled out of the sky, and struck the ground with great force. The area was cleared, and a group of law-enforcers had approached the meteor. After they had hosed it down with ice-water, (It was burning hot,) they broke a small, man-sized hole into it. After that, an Extra-terrestrial creature had grabbed all the law-enforcers and consumed them. Apparently, it had gone several hundred years without food, and it had survived through bodily fat and immobility. But now prey was here, and it was time to eat. After this, it had enough energy to lay the eggs which where to become the army. But what was not clear, was how they had gotten to the meteor, for they where stupid.

After the queen had hatched the eggs, she died. The group selected a female to become the queen and created a nest of which was to be their base. This nest was the spawning point of all of the aliens. Rapidly, more and more colonies began to form. Groups of aliens always brought females, and at settlement built a colony. The aliens moved across the world, getting across oceans through colonies built on boats. Soon, the whole planet Earth was covered with millions of aliens.

Humans sent military remainders to fight the aliens. These military units fired bullet after bullet, but the bullets bounced off the aliens’ outer shell. The aliens ate whatever the hunters could kill, therefore they ate humans. The humans tried weapon after weapon, but it was no use. They couldn’t bomb, because humans where there, and the airlines where all down. Another threat appeared after a few weeks. The aliens turned out that in larvae form, would be a parasite, and would bite the nervous system and take control of the being. After a while, the human would become more and more alien-like, until they where completely alien. This was a problem because at first, an infected would appear normal, and when you ask them if they needed help, would attack you. Instead of going to pupae form, the infected humanoids would become the body. This is why the first queen had differed from the others.
