About a Boy Named Alphonse who strives to become the best.

The dust climbed high into the air, swiveling magnificently with grace as it danced around the deserted sandy area. The sun was high above the sky, making Alphonse guess that it was noon already. The young saiyan only of the age fifteen had gone and lost himself again. This was also part of his brutal training that he scheduled for himself, not wanting to show any hint of weakness to the opponents he may or may not face in the road ahead. Soon the dusty sand of the desert again livened up as it flew up into the air around Alphonse. His back was hunched and his left hand was peeled next to his stomach, grabbing it in agony. A small whimper, shuttered through the saiyan’s lips as he now clutched down both hands around his small, empty stomach.

The saiyan hadn’t eaten in days, as he hoped this would further improve on his training of mental resistance, and endurance. For training in the young saiyan’s heart was his value in life, and winning battles is to be his achievement in life. The sun burned down upon the helpless boy, as beats of sweat began forming. The dots of sweat that covered most of his face only provided minimum relief from the heat. The ones big enough quickly slided down his face and plopped themselves into the waterless ground below

Oh, if only mom could see me now

The thick, packed brown hair that was hanging from his back wiggled around in the heat as it slopped down to one side and was dragged on. Lately he hadn’t notice it, but after his departure from home, and his excruciating trainings in the years before. A small brown bushel was formed at only half a month, soon as time passed the bushel of a small round dot began to grow until it was what it is now. Alphonse didn’t mind it, as he became more exploited with it, using it as an extra hand. Sometimes the thoughts would come to his mind of how it got there, but it would be easily brushed aside as Alphonse passed it off, as his dead mother would have called it, “Puberty.”

He just thought that a lot of boys had it once they reached a certain age. Even though he didn’t frequently see anyone on his training journeys. But that didn’t bother him, since his heart was fully devoted to his art. Alphonse’s hunched back ached, as he brushed a hand past it and gently massaged it back to normal. He gave out a sigh as he continued his dreadful walk without any food or water to support him.

I’m not gonna last long enough if this keeps up

The thought of it made him angry that he ever listened to that half dead, old man for persuading him into taking this so called training route. It was probably one of his tricks into getting rid of him, although Alphonse knew it at first he didn’t mind. The old freak had nothing left to teach the boy anyhow, and most of his training exercise was only for his pleasure. Alphonse lifted his bent neck up and gazed into the distance, with a wry look. Suddenly, a sparkle of hope arose in his eyes as a faint smile crept onto his face. He saw in the distance, a hazy outline of small dark dots shaped like buildings.

Yes! Yes! I’m going to make it out of this desert… It looks like a city, maybe a mile or two away from here! If I run then I’ll get there in a matter of minutes. Common Alphonse, make your training count!

The young boy’s back arched backwards into it’s original, perfect stature and grace. His fists glided towards his side and his legs spread apart to even up with his shoulders. A small grunt could be heard as it soon took being into a mighty yell before a brilliant golden aura appeared around the young saiyan, a wry smile emerged on his face as he dashed away towards the loaming figures of what could be a city. Only a tornado of dust was left in his trail, as the sand became waves splashing to the side as the young, ambitious saiyan set his course to the city ahead.
