One night, Mr Jamal was driving his wife home from work. She works as a nurse at a hospital. She was tired. Soon she fell asleep.

          Mr Jamal is a careful driver. He knew it was safer to drive slowly on a dark night. After some time, he saw a car following him. It was driving fast and then overtook him.

          The driver of that car was careless. He did not know that the lorry was coming from the opposite direction. To avoid hitting the lorry, he turned his car quickly to the left. It went off the road and hit a tree. The driver and the passenger were injured.

          Mr Jamal stopped his car at the roadside. His wife came to help the victims. The lorry driver was also came to help them. Mr Jamal drove of to look for a public telephone and telephoned for emergency rescue.

         About ten minutes later, a police car and an ambulance arrived at the scene. The injured men were carried into the ambulance and taken to the hospital.

          The policemen asked Mr Jamal and the lorry driver some questions about the accident that had happened. They told policemen the reason of causing the accident. The policemen thanked them for thier help. Mr Jamal and his wife then got into the car and drove home.
