Sumo may very well seem like an ordinary feline, however; he’s an angel in disguise. Showing up at the doorstep at  the home of Judy Danchura last summer in Saskatchewan; Judy simply fed it, and in hopes the cat  was just hungry and would vanish. This was not the case at all, for Judy though; the cat came back around 3:00am meowing loudly waking up Judy demanding to be let in.

Judy let the poor cat inside her home, and adopted him. This movement has changed Judy’s life forever; as that night when Judy went back to bed, the cat joined her and her husband. This was when the cat jumped onto the bed, and walked across her body, and as the cat stepped onto herbreast, Judy felt an unusual pain. That was when she noticed the lump within her breast.

“I sort of went, OH goodness, there’s definitely something wrong there,’” she said.

She made an appointment to go see her doctor, in which turned into several series of tests, and it was confirmed that Judy was struck with breast cancer. Because the tumor was detected so early, she started treatment, and now her chances of survival was up to 95% .

Praising the cat, she believes Sumo has saved her life!

“I’m not sure what my chances of survival would have been without him,” she said. “I know I’d certainly be far worse off.”

She’s humbled but yet overwhelmed, and she’s not sure why this cat has turned up for her.

Her furry four – footed angel, is what she refers Sumo (name of cat)  is really an angel in disguise.
