About a person who becomes misanthropy and then changes to become another being of goodness…

“An Incident” is a story of realization. It is a product of imaginative literature, which was well-written by Lu Hsun in China. It is a story that inspires people to be more human and gregarious with the people in the community and even in the world. It is story of change of character into full access of wisdom, realizing things within his grasp, within his hold, and within his parameter.

This story is perfectly phrased to impart human change and human frailty, but that change and frailty are definitely analyzed and carefully evaluated through series of self-motivation. The character imagines one particular incident in his life that brings him change, a change that keeps haunting him. In the event of the story, the character thinks of himself as something different from the people he meets in any affairs of state that leads him to feel misanthropic.

Yet, as he begins to be entwined by self-renewal and self-change, he becomes another he and another. That incident of him keeps another pace of his life that teaches him shame, urging him to reform, and giving him fresh courage and hope. Finally, it is the psychology of life that every human person resembles another persona who works for a change- that persona leads oneself to create another figure that contrasts the other and that is what happens to the character in the story.
