Hurt, pissed, and confused Angie did the only thing she knew to do. She turned to the one person she knew would always understand, God. So she opened her Bible to Hebrew 13:4 which read “Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.” After praying about the situation and realizing she did the right thing the only thing she could do was cry. Even though she did what was right it didn’t stop the pain.

About 2A.M. she texted her sister saying, “I forgive you.”

Afterwards she called Chris because she needed to vent and that’s just what Chris let her do. After the “counseling” session Chris had to promise Angie he wouldn’t fight Dontae next time he saw him because Chris was pissed someone would do that to his best friend. About 4 hours later they hung up the phone and went to sleep.

Buzt Buzt Buzt! It was Angie’s alarm clock waking her up that Sunday morning. “Come on Mom get up! We gotta get to church early today. I’m singing lead remember!”
