A short story why not to resist the law.

A basic traffic stop gone away

It was a normal night shift for officer V. The air was nice and there was no wind and the clock just struck 2am and officer V was sitting in a ditch off of 95 north doing traffic duty and making sure there was no speeders. Nothing out of the ordinary ever really happens here. Than officer V sees a car going about 90 mph and watches him pass and clocks him on the radar gun going exactly 90 mph. So he pulls out and puts the sirens on and speeds up to pull over the Honda civic. As soon as the officer pulled right behind the civic, the car pulled over to the right.

The officer sat in his car and ran the plates and everything came up find. "This will be easy he thought, I'll give him his ticket and than time for me to go home." He walks over to the car and says "license and registration please, I'm pulling you over because I clocked you at 90 in a 55 zone." "Hold tight and I'll be right back." The officer went back to the cruiser and started on writing the ticket for $200. He came back to the car and gave him the ticket and the driver seemed anxious about something. "Slow down and next time"……………..Before another word came out of the cop's mouth, he got shot in the chest 3 times by a 9 millimeter. The cop ran to his car and radio for help. "I've been shot multiple times. All units help. 95 north bound Honda civic", and he gives the plate number and gets in his car and takes after the guy. The cop thanks his luck that he had a vest on. He spots the car and speeds up to 90 mph and now he has more than 10 cruisers joined with the pursuit. " Pull the fuck over jerk", officer v yells. " shit he has a gun out the window and he will fire it," he warns other units. Sure enough the driver fires 4 shots at officers v's car and the cop was force to swerve side to side and he sees the pistol get thrown out of the window. "Now's my chance", the officer thought. He speeds up and bumps the car's bumper and sure enough the Honda goes off the road and flips 4 times and blew up into flames.

It took about 3 hours to do all the paper work and get the scene cleaned up and the apprehended the suspect and the officer went back to the station and cleaned up himself and went home. " another great day at work for me," he thought and smiled knowing he did good again at his job.
