Bens Moon friend comes to play with Ben just before Christmas.
A bedtime story for Children.

It was two days before Christmas. Baby Ben balloon was fast asleep in his bed, dreaming of all the new toys he hoped Father Christmas would bring him. Suddenly, he was awakened, by the sound of someone, in his bedroom. He looked around in the dark and there in the corner of his room he saw two big green eyes watching him. Who’s there, what do you want Shouted Ben, as he turned on his bedroom light. It’s me Baby Moon balloon said a little voice. I’ve come all the way from the Moon to play with you. Ben jumped out of his bed and ran to his friend, but how did you get here he said?

All the Moon Balloons gave me some of their air, till I was big enough to fly here. Ben was so happy to see one of his Moon friends Again. He suddenly felt wide-awake. Come on we’ll go and play in the garden he said. When they got too the garden they heard Mr Moons voice. Ben Balloon please look after Baby Moon balloon, and keep him safe from harm won’t you.

I promise I’ll take good care of him Mr Moon, said Ben.

Baby Moon balloon was very curious and wanted to know about everything on Earth. What’s this soft green stuff called, he said pointing to the ground? Its grass said Ben laughing, and that’s a big tree, and over there are some flowers. Baby Moon balloon had never seen plants before.

Why don’t we have plants and flowers on the Moon he asked Ben?

I don’t know, lets ask Mr Moon. Plants need lots and lots of water, and there isn’t much water on the moon, so plants cant live here said Mr Moon.

Come on Ben I want to play some games now, said Baby Moon balloon. Alright we’ll play hide and seek said Ben. You go and hide and I’ll count to ten and come looking for you. Off ran Baby Moon balloon and got hidden behind the big tree.

Ben counted to ten and started looking for him. He soon saw Baby Moon balloons green eyes, shining in the dark. He ran to the tree and shouted got you. They played hide and seek one more time, Ben let Baby moon balloon hide again. He knew he’d soon find him in the dark with his bright green eyes. Off Baby Moon balloon ran to hide .Ben counted to ten and looked around the garden, he soon saw a pair of green eyes behind a bush. Ben ran over shouting got-you but there was no one there! Then he looked around, and saw two green eyes near the tree again. Ben ran to the tree and shouted got you, but there was no one there. Ben thought this is very strange. Ben looked up in the tree and there two green eyes were looking down at him. Then Ben saw two more green eyes behind a bush. Who’s hiding behind that bush shouted Ben? It’s me Baby Moon balloon said a voice. Then who’s that up in the tree?
