A story about A Fourth of July celebration.

Every Fourth of July, I go to the beach to enjoy the hot weather, music and meet women. The year 2009 was no exception. A friend invited me to a beach party in upstate New York, and I was very excited to be partying with other young, energetic partygoers. I was ready to show them exactly how I, Uptown, party hard in Manhattan!

Out on the beach, it was already packed. Everybody was already having a good time. It seemed like all the pretty women were already occupy with somebody. I am looking around and could not find the friend that invited me to the party nowhere. Therefore, I went to the table to get a drink to try to calm myself down. I looked over to my right and there was a familiar face. It was my high school crush, Kara.

Kara was a cute slender long shapely-legged brown-skinned woman with long hair. She wore a nice yellow outfit that exposed her flat, tone belly. She was looking so good! I was proud that she kept herself up, and it had been ten years since we graduated from high school. I walked over to her to get a good look at her flashing dark eyes.

“Kara?” I approached her. “Wow, you looked amazing!”

“Hey, thank you, Uptown!” She said, and then she kissed me on the cheek.

I have been working out. Do you like what you see? What are you doing here?”

“I’m chillin’, enjoying the festivities. What you been up to?”

“Working and going to medical school. I lived in Atlanta now. I’m only in New York for a week. What are you doing with yourself?”

“Well, I’m doing some writing now. I still live in Manhattan, but on the Upper West Side now. I had to move from Spanish Harlem because it was getting too crazy. Wasn’t that tragic about Michael Jackson?”
