Scarlet flare

Max Shriek looked over the photo’s of the fight with great satisfaction. “The woman can fight. Who new.” He almost whispered. He raised his voice addressing the young photographer, “Who else has seen these?” The Photographer seemed very nervous as is everyone in the presence of Max Shriek. “No one sir. I brought all the photo’s straight to you…even the negatives. Hold them up to the light and you can see the entire battle being played out.” The photographer stated smiling at his own success. “You will be abundantly awarded for this but I must ask some questions before you collect your money and run.” Max stated standing in front of the photographer, “What happened to start the fight?” The photographer thought back to the scene. “The woman was very confident. These guys were obviously going to rape her but she didn’t seem afraid. The men called her a little girl and she retaliated with some brand of sarcasm stating that they were out matched and they should leave. The leader laughed at her and continued to advance. She didn’t take this to well and stated that any part of him that touched her he wouldn’t get back.” The photographer stated ah struck. Then his expression changed. He seemed a little anxious, “Then at the end of the battle she took hold of the guys arm. S-She was going to pull it off but the man begged her to stop. She t-told him to leave and never come back or she would take his arm and break his legs.” The photographer looked up to Mr. Shriek expecting to see his surprised expression but instead he saw a smile on his face. A cruel one that made him step back slightly. “She said that? Hm.” He hummed in thought, “Well she certainly doesn’t sound like any normal woman you would meet on the street dose she?” The photographer shook his head in agreement, “I’d say she was to evil to be just a massage therapist. She must be an assassin or something.” Mr. Shriek nodded in agreement never taking his eyes off of the photographer. “And who would you say this to?” Max asked threateningly. The photographer stepped back instinctively, “No one Mr. Shriek I no better then to cross you.” Max nodded smiling charmingly, “Smart man. You can pick up your check at my secretaries desk. The photographer didn’t need a hint he left quickly closing the door behind him.
