Clear, blue waves are breaking on the shore

and the sun, through the trees is making shadows on the floor

I’m so happy I brought you here,

sitting on the sand while the sun disappears.

Strolling down to the shimmering sea

I put my arm round you, you put yours round me.

The water’s swirling round our feet and toes

the sunset makes the horizon glow.

We see cars drive by, our friends have arrived

We’re gonna have ourselves a wild fun night

The music’s playing and the swimmers are bathing

and we’re putting up the tents cause tonight we’re staying

We grab our boards and run into the sea

The air is warm with humidity

We’ll catch some waves in the light of the moon

which is casting shadows in the sand dunes

Everyone gathers around the campfire

exchanging stories and jokes before we retire

back to the tents for a much-needed sleep

for ever and ever these memories we’ll keep.
