A love story regarding a woman’s love to her fiancee and how the latter responds to it.
Dennis noticed that he is in a strange room when he woke up. He saw his mother and cousin Ellen sitting by the bedside and talking about something.
“Mommy,” he whispered.
The two immediately turned their attention to him.
“Dennis, you’re awake. How’s your feeling?” his mother asked.
“Where am I?” he asked.
“You are in a hospital. You met an accident with Marian about a week ago,” Ellen answered.
After hearing the name of Marian, his fiancée, he immediately tried to arise from bed, but his mother calmed him.
“How is Marian? Where is she?” he asked.
“She is in the other room. Do you want to go and visit her?” Ellen asked.
He nodded. Ellen volunteered to be the one to pull his wheelchair towards the other room. There he saw Ellen. Like him, she is well and not so injured. Her left arm has a bandage on it. But she lost her eyesight after the accident.
“Who are they?” she asked. She is currently sitting in a wheel chair with her father behind her.
“It’s I, Ellen, and Dennis,” she heard the voice of her Ellen.
“Dennis, how are you?” asked Marian.
Dennis answered after a few seconds.
“I-I’m fine,”
“Thank God, you’re okay. I think you will go home earlier than me. I have some therapies more to go. Would you mind setting the preparation of our wedding alone?”
Dennis did not answer. He stared at Ellen and Damian, Marian’s father. Both sensed what Dennis is thinking.
“Marian, I think you must have to rest first as the doctor ordered. You will talk about this matter later on,” Damian said.
Afterwards Ellen and Dennis went out the room. Damian sighed.
“Dad, I know,” whispered Marian.
“Marian,”
