Unanswered question.

‘It seems slipping. Something is getting lost again. A sense of loss already is engulfing me from the surrounding’ – Voices of Nethra.

Those are the moments when Vikram was standing at the door with his luggage and about to leave for Maya. Nethra always feared for this day. She knew that Vikram is a promiscuous and handsome male. He cannot stick to one person for longer. And his charm had a special charismatic touch. Nethra was one of those who got carried away with his man’s beauty. She got madly attracted to this man without him making much effort. Vikram has the right flesh at the right corners of his body and a great charmer. He knows the skills very well. The skills that never keeps him lonely and alone but surrounded by all crazy fans of his.

But Nethra was genuine. It was a fact that she met Vikram in a dating site when her life was pretty screwed up and she landed desperately to discover her EX who was hunting for more partners to trade sex. Nethra was lonely, desolate and left to mercy with herself. She was not like any other women who can be tamed and made to sleep easily. Even though it’s a fact that she landed in dating site to either talk or find someone to express her and anything that carried it further. But at the end of the day, what she needed is an iota of love. But reality had always been crude with her. She never found peace. She never found her man, one with whom she could relate forever.

All of a sudden, one fine night she found Vikram. Vikram didn’t have to try hard to woo her. Chat landed to more chat until a meet happened. And it was awesome that shook Nethra who was determined never to loose her past. Something shook her within again and she could sense a strong feeling for someone else again.

Probably Vikram needed a shelter this time and hence he proposed marriage. Could be a resting period for him but for Nethra it was her ‘dreams come true’. She dedicated everything she had with her utmost honesty, loyalty and piousness to Vikram as though he is her GOD. But a crow cannot turn peacock even though it got the best features of the planet.

Vikram dated Maya for 8 months and when pressurized to own the baby Maya gave birth to (which of course was of Vikram’s) he was left with no choice but to disclose the news to Nethra. He didn’t give her much time to reconcile and started packing his luggage for leaving the house.

Nethra was stoned. Destiny had always been rough with her. She is much better than any women under the sun but there’s none to understand her inner beauty. Nethra was seeing Vikram picking up his clothes from the cupboard, filling up the bags, packaging everything that he possessed without leaving any item as a memorandum for Nethra. She felt slipped. Her voices and tears were struggling inside to pour out. Still she remained silent. Something was burning within. Some train was getting lost. She was running for it desperately but every step she took, it felt the train moved few yards ahead. She once fell at Vikram’s feet as she could not stand anymore and begged for a chance. One last chance to stay with him. Begged and begged until she was booted off his path. Nethra cried aloud and within clenching onto her man. She slapped him, herself and the wall. And everything around the house was destroyed in this bitter struggle but the exit could not be stopped.

Nethra died. She consumed poison. Vikram was jailed for the crime of emotional torture and held responsible for this menace.

JUSTICE IS MADE. Maya & her baby died in an accident while she was on her way to attend Vikram at the police station.

The story ends tragically.

Couldn’t that be saved? A life gone so easily…

Is commitment such a difficult task and are lives or people so insignificant?

I look upon to GOD and pray for those who are still blind. Stop bleeding and making someone bleed. Please. Stop.
