By that time, Rome tried to improve its institutions and its laws, adopting some of the laws in force in Greece. Crearam are the decemviros, to exercise the power instead of two consuls. The laws of Athens were adopted by the Romans recorded on twelve tablets, which led them to the appointment of the twelve tables of laws. Was short lived decemviros of the institution, which was in turn replaced by two consuls. This substitution was made in requirement of the people, tired of the tyranny of decemviros and excesses of the nobles. People still got another victory: it was established that both the consuls would be elected from among the patricians as among the mob, and that could make marriages between individuals of Different Class member.

This was followed by other wars, some of which we have dealt ago, in differente chapters, the purpose of many other people, such as Tarentum, that of Pyrrho, the Syracuse, the three Punic Wars, to the Corinthians, and of Spain, has submitted that the Romans also. All these wars have resulted in giving Rome a vast dominance in the world.
