A boy has a nightmare. And this is his story…
As they finished their food, a police patrol was patrolling nearby. Randalf wanted to hide, but his friends pleaded with him. They could not take it any longer, anymore of the running, anymore of this hiding. Randalf knew that too. He looked up at the strange man and said,” I am confused. I don’t know what to do. I want to go home, but I know that I can’t run any longer.” The strange man stared into his eyes and nodded his head slowly. Like a spell that was casted, Randalf understood what that meant. He dropped the pistol on the floor and headed with his friends in the direction of the police patrol. He knew that he was walking to his end. Having taken three lives and put his friends in such jeopardy. He couldn’t hold this responsibility any longer. He walked, staring at the end of the alley. The end of the alley seemed even darker now, even though it was in noon time. It spelt the end for him, but he knew justice had to be done. He walked, step by step towards it, knowing that what lay ahead of him felt like eternal damnation. The gallows was all he saw.
“Aah!” screamed Randalf as he sat up straight on his bed. He looked around, only to find that he was in his room, filled with the familiar things like his desk, his stuffed teddy bear at his side and the computer on his desk. ‘Phew… It is only a dream.’ He thought as he slumped back onto his bed. “What is wrong Randalf?” his mother asked, upon entering his room. He turned to look at his mother and replied, “You’re right mum. Drugs and violent games are bad for me; especially excessive amounts of violent games are unhealthy for the mind.” His mother stared at him wanting to question him about his answer, but she thought the better of it when Randalf left the room to go wash up. Nevertheless, she wondered, ‘What is going on?’
