Find out the truth about her…
Kristina just watched Eloisa while doing her evil deed on Chemistry Class. Eloisa dropped the reagent containing KmNO4 over Steven’s labgown. Steven’s uniform also absorbed the reagent. Steven just shouted hysterically, and then he ran outside the Laboratory.
“Oh did you see Steven’s reaction? He’s the class clown and he deserves it,” Eloisa proudly commented on her actions earlier. She was sporting her brand new heart-shaped hairpin, declaring that it worth a hundred bucks. They are now eating lunch at the school cafeteria. Kristina sat besides Eloisa. “That’s mean Eloisa. You shouldn’t do that to poor Steven.” Kristina stood up, grabbing her bottled water and marched out. “Oh, what a party pooper.” Eloisa snarled.
Kristina and Eloisa are best friends since kindergarten. They have been together for almost 12 years. But when they enter High School, Eloisa became the class bully. Being the daughter of a CEO, for her people are either beautiful or garbage. If Eloisa labels person a garbage, she’ll do anything to make his/her life miserable.
“Hey miserable flee bait!” Eloisa bullied a student who sporting an afro look.
“Eloisa, I’m going home” said Kristina. She and Eloisa always go home together, since they are neighbours. She remembers the laughs they shared way back elementary days.
Kristina left the train station at exactly 6p.m. The skies look gloomy. Kristina walked across the street; her house was still a few meters away. Surprisingly, it’s totally silent that moment. “It’s totally unusual.” She muttered. Then she continues to walk.
Kristina heard whispers. She has been looking forward to go home immediately, but now something strange just occurred. She has no idea what was that. Then she noticed that someone was following her. She attempted to look back; sweat now forms in her forehead. “This is insane!” her mind shouted. She then decided to take a detour. She thinks on passing over the bridge. She’s quite sure that she won’t be alone, since she always notices that couples start to flock in that spot every night to see the stars’ reflection over the river.
Twilight fell: The skies turned to a light purple, plagued with silver stars. Kristina’s stomach gave a jolt. She looked back, to see the face of the person following her. Kristina looked over her shoulder, her heart pumping harder and harder and faster than ever.
Her eyes grew. Her feeling quickly changes. “STEVEN! You scared me to death!” At that moment, Kristina was completely pissed off.
Steven was still wearing his labgown, a huge portion was color brown, due to the spilled KmNO4. His eyes transfixed on Kristina. He hadn’t moved an inch upon realizing that she was talking to him. Kristina was perplexed about Steven’s unusual activity. She then called her. “Steven? Are you alright?”
Steven charges towards Kristina. On his hands, he holds a bottle that Kristina recognizes. That’s a reagent, an ACID! What is he planning to do? Kristina was completely shocked. There was no sign of any emotion at all in his face. “STEVEN!” she once again shouts. Upon realizing the danger on meeting her classmate at that time, she ran.
“If this is a nightmare, I really want to wake up at once!” She hissed. She didn’t understand why Steven attacked her. She ran and ran but Steven was still following her. At last, she arrived at the bridge. She thought that she will arrive in what seemed to be a crowded area, but there was no sign of any human. The area was scarcely less quiet than the street. A sweaty-faced Kristina stopped at the middle of the bridge. “What’s wrong with you?” she snarled.
Steven was looking at her. “I’m going to horribly disfigure your face” he sounded incredulously delighted.
“Why? I didn’t do any harm on you, Steven!” Kristina protested.
“HUH? I really hate you for what you have done. For ages, you have been bullying me!” Steven hissed. He draws nearer and nearer.
“Bully you? Are you insane! I didn’t bully you!” She answered back. She doesn’t understand the situation. Why is he claiming that I’m the one bullying him!
Steven cried. “I really hate you, Eloisa!” She charges towards, opening the bottle of reagent and spilled it on her face. She shrieked hysterically. She then tripped over and fell over the bridge.
She was floating in the river, looking aghast. She manages to stand up, her arms feeling numb. Looking up, she saw tiny silver stars shining. She looked down and she can’t believe what she just saw. On her hair tugged a heart-shaped hairpin. She was Eloisa after all. But now, her face was horrible. A burning sensation runs across his face, making her weak.
“Kristina, I’m going home”.
