The majesty of height, and the depth within defiance. It was the beauty of amaze, and behold the landscape of conquer. In the hills of Vermont stood tall and wide, that is of the blue mountains. It was there peaks and valleys that drew attention, and two mountain explorers, who are putting their strength together and skills into the climb.

Randy and Joseph Petersen are a father and son team as professional mountain climbers. However, on this day, it was snowy and a fierce wind was blowing. Two days before, a strong snowstorm passed through the tall blue mountain peaks, and the town of Fall Elks. It was crystal clear, the Petersen’s were determined to challenge themselves in climbing the blue mountain ridge, and risk the agony of defeat.

Senior and Junior Petersen were carefully tying their ropes and putting on their harness for safety purposes. They timed the hook and hatch, and throwing it at the right place for leverage. Only when, a strong wind began too blew, and they were steadily making their way up blue mountain. As they were descending, you could see the ice crystals that shined like a rainbow and color gram of one’s reflection with the casting of beauty and grace. Their strength called for all their efforts in being the determination in meeting the challenge. Their thoughts were, no obstacles were going to stop them from reaching the top.

It was the crafted skills, and careful maneuvering on the Petersen’s part. It was one foot and arm in a balanced motion in gravity in climbing the mountain, and no thought of the consequence. It would the reward in conquering nature’s best with a test. Just then, the young Joseph Petersen’s foot slipped from the cold winds that blew, however, he was able to regain himself, and continue on with the climb. They were almost too the top, like a couple of earth worms in the yearlong with the dawning of day, but direct in the straight and narrows. They have a few more feet in reaching the top as an accomplishment. Finally, they reached the top, and the father and son team huddled each other in making history for themselves, and even recorded their great triumph in video. History in the making with defying the odds, and achieving the impossible with gravity being defeated in a quest of muster and ouster, as it was raw strength in precision.
