The time comes when we all need a new vehicle.
Bob’s Used Vehicle Emporium.
Tracey broke the silence as the couple sped along the freeway,
“David have you stopped sulking yet? We talked this over all last weekend. We have enough money now. You have been putting this off for weeks”
David shifted in his seat belt and replied,
“Ok, yes we talked about it and we agreed we are getting a newer used one ok. But why ‘Bob’s Used Vehicle Emporium’ He is such a schmuck! That stupid cowboy Stetson he wares and that patter oh my word does he go on”
Tracey pressed the accelerator harder in annoyance and they closed the distance to ‘Bob’s Used Vehicle Emporium’ Tracey turned down the volume on the stereo and said,
“You don’t like this guy because of his stupid TV advert. He probably is a real business man. All that guff he spouts is for the camera’s. Mandy at work bought one off him last year and she said he was ok, really he was”
Up ahead neon lights pulsed and a 100 metre high image of Bob flashed on and off and in huge letters was the name ‘Bob’s Used Vehicle Emporium’. Tracey slowed right down and was about to park up when a small Mechanic waved them forward and pointed to a wider parking area. Tracey skilfully parked up and David said,
“Ok then you got me here lets go look at some. Remember we want a decent part exchange ok? I personally know how good this old girl has been”
David and Tracey had just stood up when the mechanic put out his hand and said,
“Your keys please standard procedure here at ‘Bob’s Used Vehicle Emporium’. We have had people scratch what they cant afford you know”
Tracey gave the mechanic her keys. David saw the shiny vehicles through the neon clad gates. The couple headed off towards the vehicles. Suddenly from nowhere out leapt Bob!
“Howdy folks, I’m Bob and this here is my Emporium”
David’s worst fear had come to pass there stood Bob in all his pomp. Bob was around 2 metres tall and he wore a bright cream Stetson hat. His shirt had tiny neon flashing bulbs for buttons. Bob thrust out his right hand and shook David’s hand vigorously and did the same to Tracey. Bob continued,
