In part one our hero Darren found a magic bracelet. He got himself a good school report with it, and routed the school bullies. Now he was ready for more…. Darren shows the bracelet to his friends, John and Gordon.

“Let’s get this right,” said John,”sounds to me like you have the  power to do ANYTHING!”

“Yes, John,” replied Darren,”but anything stronger now would give the whole game away!”

“So what?” retorted John,” with THIS power you can be King of The World, live in a big palace and have your own government – and army. So long as you ask Silver to make you invulnerable.”

“In what?” asked Gordon.

“Invulnerable, like `Superman`, so nothing or nobody can harm you in any way!”

“Oh, I see.”

“Just think of all the good you can do Darren! You can rid the world of pollution, poverty, disease and even death. Everyone twenty two or older could be made twenty one.”

“And everyone who reaches twenty one could stop getting older!” chipped in Darren.

“Exactly. And while you’re at it you can control the weather over ALL the world,” continued John.

“No problem, consider it done!” declared Darren firmly. And it was.

Within minutes the three of them, plus Kate, were lounging in a luxurious, enormous palace on the edge of town. Darren had completed everything John had suggested, and more. About three months later they were playing in and around their swimming pool, as usual.

Suddenly there was a blinding flash, and three silver “figures” stood before them. The central one stepped forward.

“Greetings, I am Lettoth,” exclaimed the front figure,”from the `Interplanetary Federation`. Guardian of this sector of space. I regret to inform you that your recent actions, particularly the banishment of Death, have totally destroyed the balance of nature on your world. As things stand you must now ban all births, or expand your race like a raging virus throughout space. You clearly lack the maturity required to own that band on your wrist. I have to confiscate it. Perhaps in time you will grow wise enough to receive it again. Let everything be as it was before this child found the bracelet!”

Darren found himself on the way home from school again. Now he really WAS fed up! Now he would just have to show them what he could do, and how angry he was!

Not in my neighborhood. That interplanetary trio would have been mugged before they got as far as “Greetings, I am…”
