chapter 1
Once upon a time, upon the great land ruled by the oldest wizard. There lived a girl called Lilli.
Lilli was a Land-pip, a name given to all those living upon the land that were unable to fly or use land magic.
Although Lilli had often wondered what it must be like to zoom around the great land and what it must feel like to live in one of the sparkling villages that floated up above.
Lilli loved being a Land-pip and was somewhat proud.
Today was the most important day that Lilli had ever had, Her years researching the great land and talking to everyone that lived upon it, Had finally seemed worthwhile and not only was she asked to write for the local paper, she was to write a book.
A book that would be sent to everyone in the world, to learn them of the great land and all that lived in it.
Usually confident with her writing skills and equipped with every piece of information she believed possible to start a book.
Lilli sat dumbfounded at her desk and the blank piece of paper that she had placed in front of her nearly 4 hours ago, still sat blank and unmoving as her head continued to feel empty.
Sitting on her favourite green leather recliner chair, the chair she always sat in if something was bothering her or she needed time to think .
She tried again and again to think of something to begin the first page, of what was soon to be her very own book, But nothing, she had what she believed to be writersblock.
Even in the most magical land in the kingdom, she knew of no cure for writers block, other than to wait for her mind and fingers to start working together again.
Just a chapter or a quick note offering insight would surely not be so hard to master, but no, Lilli was running out of time.
Tonight she was to meet the editor of the local paper and surely he would want an idea of what the book would entail and how far she had gotten with it, for now she would need to improvise and hopefully tomorrow, she would finally be able to begin.
It was six o clock which meant only two hours before she was due to meet the editor and begin her interview, though totally unprepared and still upset at her lack of ability, she began to get ready.
