This is a short story using phenomenal vocabulary words.

There once was a bandicoot that had dysentery. He lived in a jardinière and ate kumquat (all day, every day).

One day he walked into the forest to see his friend Larry. Larry was a purple elephant who wore yellow rain boots. He was pretty chill.

Well anyway, Larry used to have an infection in is intrauterine. He told Buddly (the bandicoot) about his past health problem. Buddly felt bad for his friend because he knows what it’s like to have a problem like that. He used to have hemorrhoids.

The two started talking about different types of fruit. Buddly asked Larry if he has ever had kumquat. Larry said no. And without saying much, Buddly went back to his place to retrieve some.

An hour went by and Buddly was finally back. “What took so long?” Larry asked. “I stopped to talk to my friend Malaria. Did you know that she got married last week?” Buddly continued, “Anyway, I got the kumquat.” He handed some to Larry. When the silly elephant tasted it, he drew a smirk from his face. And then, after a few seconds passed by, he spat it out coughing.

The bandicoot was very upset with his friend. He jumped onto Larry’s back in a postilion position. He tried to shove him off, but Buddly used to be in the World Wrestling Confederation and was not about to give up the fight. Larry’s occupation (semantics), on the other hand, could not help him now. Buddly had grown to be as strong as a sum pan. Nothing could get in his way.

Then, for some odd reason, Larry shouted out “Did you know that Monosaccharide cannot be split into two different sugars?!” “Why are you telling me this?” Buddly asked. Larry laughed and Buddly got off his back.

“Sorry.” Buddly said. Larry nodded his head as he let loose a smile. He threw his arm around Buddly and they walked away into the sunset . . .
