A child has fallen from a four story balcony and apparently the adults were home at the time of the incident!  The sad part is that the adults apparently didn’t realize that the child had ‘disappeared’ until the screaming and commotion from downstairs got their attention and they looked out the window!

What a shocker it must have been to see your baby lying on the asphalt crying and screaming in pain!  Of course an ambulance was called to the scene and the child has been treated!  The extent of the injuries is not known at the time of this writing!

What I feel is the biggest shocker of all is the FACT that the adults were home at the time of this!  However, it is not clear exactly WHERE the adults were within the apartment!  So, to me it seems that, perhaps the adults were too busy with t.v. or quarreling or something along those lines to NOT notice that the child has become missing and then, subsequently falls out of the window!

Police have kept very quiet about this incident, other than to report the initial, VERY SMALL, write up about the child falling!  As of this writing, it is unclear to this writer what medical state the child is in at this time!

I feel very strongly about such things as I have written above!  I feel that the parents need to be charged with a crime here!  Now, I am not saying that they should go to jail or anything, I will leave that up to the D.A. in the case!  But, it seems apparent to me, based on what I have read so far, that perhaps the parents and, in fact, ALL OF THE ADULTS that live in this house should, at the very minimum, be senteced to attend PARENTING CLASSES!

I feel that this society is becoming more and more lazy when it comes to the care and concern for the young people out there!  And, as a result, this is what happens!  I am also a HUGE ‘advocate/supporter’ of having more control over t.v. and video games.  Perhaps if this was more ‘regulated’ then people would not become so involved in them that they lose track of their children!
