About a villain.

Would you like to hear a story?

It takes place in a land far away, and a time long ago.

Its a story about a clown.

Whats that you say?

“Whats a clown?”

Well, you see long ago on planet earth there were people much like you and me, but not quite as smart or evolved.

When these people became bored with their redundant lives, they would gather together as families and go to the circus for entertainment.   The circus, what a grand time.

Well, I suppose I should explain the circus really quick, then I’ll go back to the clowns.

The Circus; what a grand time.

Yes. Clowns. In the beginning clowns were good people.  They wandered around the earth to make people laugh and smile.  They carried flowers and made balloon animals for children.  Kids would wait all year to get  a chance to go to the circus and see a clown.

Now here is where the story gets tricky; somewhere along the line clowns became scary and evil. Something happened and all the sudden the streets were filled with sad clowns. Clowns that cried and scared little children. There is even one myth of the most evil of evil. The scariest clown of them all. This clown is the stuff childhood nightmares are made from. This clown was  known as “pennywise.”

The tale of pennywise goes something like this.  There is an evil clown that lived in the sewer systems and would hunt innocent children so as to abduct, torture, and then violentley murder them. He lured them with baloons and paper boats and planes.  He promised them candy and magic tricks, then he got inside their heads and directed their worst nightmares.  He understood their fears and then attacked them.

It is said that this clown will always haunt the drains of the world called planet earth, and this is one of the bedtime stories that children of this place fell asleep to.  It was around this time in human history on the planet earth that things started going wrong a little bit, right before the end of the human  period that children began to fear the creatures lurking in the drains and sewers below them.

Authors note; of course the clown I refer to as pennywise is the clown known from the book “It” writen by the brilliant Stephen King.
