Peter Smedley, multi-millionaire from the hotel, agreed that the last moments of his life to be filmed by a team at the BBC, in an act of assisted suicide. These recordings will be subject to a controversial documentary.

Mr Smedley, who suffered from motor neurone disease, was the subject of the documentary film “ Choosing Death ”, which will be broadcast Monday in Britain.
Until now, his identity remained secret, and the movie is called, simply, Peter. His friends told the Daily Telegraph about his determination to change laws on assisted suicide, and the identity was made public.
“ I think he was too subtle for this kind of problem, which refers to the ability to take a decision on their own lives. In England you can not do that, as husband or wife may not help you, so was forced to leave in Switzerland ”- said a close friend of Peter Smedley, who wished to remain anonymous.
“ He wanted to die in their bedroom or lounge or even ”he said, quoted by The Telegraph.
Nobody outside his family was unaware that Sir Peter Smedley invited Terry to be with his wife, Christina (60 years) at the Dignitas clinic in Switzerland.There, he drank a poisonous substance and died on 10 December 2010.
His death will be the first assisted suicide will be broadcast ever on British television.
