CLUMSY DAYS: day one.
“We asked Mr Marquet to please explain these words. And this is what he tells us, the importance of escape no one:
“- If nothing is in addition to physical findings made by the prosecution today, I fear that the mystery surrounding the abominable crime which Miss Stangerson was a victim is not close to clear up, but we must hope for the human reason, the polls of the walls, ceiling and floor of the “Yellow Room” polls that I will deliver tomorrow with the contractor who built the house four years ago, we will bring proof that we must never despair of the logic of things. Because the problem is this: we know where the killer was introduced – it came through the door and hid under the bed until Miss Stangerson, but where did he leave? How has he managed to escape? If there is neither door nor secret door, or reduced, or openings of any kind, if the examination of the walls and even demolition – for I am determined, and Mr. Stangerson is determined to be up the demolition of the house – not just be any practical way, not only a human being, but to be one of any kind, if the ceiling does not have a hole, if the floor does not hide underground ” He must really believe in hell, “as Father Jacques!”
