A story I made of my imagination of a young boy who lived back then and will go to the New World.
Chapter Three “There Be Land I see!”
I was the one to first spot land, I’d been waiting all day outside on the deck and I yelled “There be land I see!”. I yelled it a couple of times and the captain came running out and said get the telescope! So I ran and got the telescope and looked closer I saw lush green forests and the splashing against the shore. My senses came and I smelled the crisp air and the salty sea. I ran to my father and told him what I saw and practically the whole ship came to see if as it were excited too. (Henry Jr, William his mother and Henry were told to stay on the ship till the men came back).
My father did not say I would have to stay on the ship with all of the women and children. I did not want to stay, I was expecting to go with everyone. My dog King went with the men, so I have no companion to spend my time with. This journey has not turned out how I wanted and thought it would be.
