About cottontails…

When the cottontail bunnies are about two months old, they will be completely on their own. By winter their fur will be thick. Each young cottontail will make his own form under the edge of a rock or under a bush. From there he will watch the snow fall. Since there are no green plants to eat during the winter, he must eat twigs and bark from small fruit trees and bushes.

What a sweet smell spring brings to the woods and meadow! Now there are green plants to eat again. The rabbits no longer think pof their mother nor of their brothers or sisters. Only a year old, each rabbit is fully grown and ready to begin its own family.

    Think of This!

The mother cottontail will give her life to protect her babies. Does this make you think of Someone Who gave His life for you to save you from your sins?
