This is a silly story I wrote for a contest. Thought I would share it here.

Here I am lost on Carlene’s Isle. Not a good place to be if you know what I mean.
That Carlene she likes people. Now when I say she likes people I mean she likes them with ketchup, mayonnaise, well pretty much anything she can get her hands on or teeth into. Oh the humanity!!
I don’t know how I came to be stranded on this island but I soon found out I wasn’t alone.
While trying to find a way off the island I stumbled upon Andrea waving her pom poms at me and right behind her doing cartwheels was Katrina. A few feet away I saw Chandra walking towards us yelling “Go back!”
At first I didn’t know what she was going on about until I saw her!
Carlene!! Coming up behind her with a hatchet!!
Afraid and shaking I did my best to run. Luckily I happened to bring my rollerblades with me and quickly wheeled away from her with the other three hanging onto Andrea’s slinky and moving as fast as their feet could carry them!
We finally made it into a nice deep part of the trees where Carlene couldn’t find us for the night.
So Andrea pulled out her bottles of beer and Chandra grabbed the steaks she brought and Katrina lit the fire pit she brought with her (how handy was that!) .
What a feast we had!! We were stuffed and fell into a sound sleep with the fire pit roaring to keep us warm.
Little did we know that Carlene was hiding behind some trees watching us get nice and fattened up while we roasted next to the fire!
All of a sudden i heard some rustling in the leaves and then some footsteps coming towards us!
“Wake up!” I screamed and the others bolted awake and we all started running!
Andrea grabbed some bananas she brought and threw us each one. We peeled them and dropped them on the ground.
Carlene slipped and went flying! What a hilarious site it was!
We knew we didn’t have time to stop and laugh so in the darkness we continued running.
Chandra grabbed the bottle of beer out of her bag and shook them hard, cracked open the bottles and sprayed them in Carlene’s face as she neared closer.
“Run!” she yelled.
We did. After dropping the bottles, Chandra managed to catch up to us.
We found a cave ahead that we crawled into hoping the vicious Carlene wouldn’t find us.
In the morning, when we all realized we made it through the night, we started on our way trying to find a way off Carlene’s Island.
All we had left to eat or drink was my ginger beer and Katrina’s bubble gum.
So we drank the ginger beer hoping it would settle our stomachs.
So much for that idea! All of a sudden Chandra let out a huge *BELCH*!!
Andrea starting giggling.
“ssshhhh!!” said Katrina, “Listen.”
We could hear it. The sounds of Carlene’s huge smelly feet coming towards us. We could see the look on her face with her mouth open and those long yellow teeth showing. ooh we shuttered at the thought.
Just then Chandra remembered about the robot she brought. She turned it on and it sounded just like Chandra. She left the robot talking while we ran as fast as we could in the other direction.
For a few minutes it threw Carlene off. She was so confused when she caught up to the robot and tried to bite its arm. “GRRR!” she groaned.
It didn’t stop her for long. She was on our tracks again. She was like a bloodhound! There was no stopping her.
Finally we saw the edge of the island!
There it was! my plane I had come in on but couldn’t find my way back to. The memories of me having a rough landing by the island, hoping to find a place to refuel came flooding back.
Katrina grabbed a big bag of marbles she had left in her bag.
“This seemed like a good time to lose all my marbles!” she yelled. With that she scattered them all over the ground.
HA HA!! Did Carlene go flying!! She was wiping out every step she tried to take. Too bad one of us didn’t have a camera.
Well we did have my plane so we hopped in and made our escape.
How lucky were we that it had just enough fuel to let us land on Johnny Depp’s eco-friendly solar power Island.
