A few stray snippets of the crocodile put together into a tale, a cocktail.

Nesting, resting or testing

the scene quite is arresting.

No, he’s not a dentist

good reason to be in the crocodile’s short list.

Crocodile left him conditionally free

to his wedding, invite, he should agree.

The engagement rings, genuine or fake

What difference does it make?

Provided the the crocodile is assured of

chunks from the wedding cake.

Happy, now the crocodile gives an option:

Will you walk into my parlour, or would you rather have me around in your backyard?

Some Facts

t.

A bird called the plover actually acts as a dentist picking out decaying food in the crevices between he crocodile’s teeth

Years ago, prisoners of war used to be confined in a marshy area in the Bay of Bengal to prevent them from escaping. At night these soldiers could be heard screaming, for they used to be feasted upon by the estuarine crocodiles.

The Sunderbans is a chain of islands covered with mangrove forests, formed by the Ganges and Brahmaputra deltas. Villagers there build wooden stockades for protection when bathing in the waters, but smaller crocodiles manage to enter and attack them. They are still killing a large number of people each year.Sharks also infest the waters, and tigers romp the jungles as if the others were not good enough.

The female crocodile lays thirty to forty eggs in a swamp and covers them with vegetation for warmth. She carefully protects them from predators like storks, monkeys and monitor lizards. Hatched babies are later carried to safer places by the mother.

Above is the picture of a villager of the Sunder-bans. Her husband had been carried away by a crocodile, a few years back.A smiling personality nevertheless, she left the village for the city and is employed there.

very interesting post about crocodiles. Several years ago I have been to local crocodile farm and they had performance whereby the man put his head inside the crocodile’s mouth.
