I Bought Cuddles from a pet shop when I was in my early teens.

She had a great personality and was very friendly to everyone.

I was take her out of the cage and walk around the house with her in my sailor hat. I would hand food up to her there, which she would take and eat while still up there.She may not have been able to see far away but she enjoyed the ride around the house.

When she was in the cage you couldn’t put a finger through the bars. That was the only time that she would try to bit anyone. Any food had to go through the door and not the bars. She didn’t like things that went through the bars.

She had one litter but they didn’t live long. I think they inherited something for the father. We had to put him to sleep. He was making a lot of noise and looked to be in pain. We never did find out what was wrong with him.

Although she only lived for about a year she brought a lot of joy to our family.

When she died I buried her in the little pet cemetery that had been started by the tool shed.
