Shots of buildings interspersed with running feet, and some panting heard in the background. The camera remains static as two teenagers continue off into the distance, once turning a corner. The angle reveals the two more clearly, one dark-haired male and one dark-haired female, Greg and Charley. The camera blurs as they enter a shop. The angle changes to behind the two as they enter, searching for something. They spot a light-brown haired teenage boy, looking at games.

Charley

There he is!

The two launch at him as the boy, Laurence, looks up. Greg grabs his arms behind his back while Charley removes a thick book from her bag. The camera becomes fast paced as she begins hitting Laurence on the head and body with the book, as other people watch in shock.

Cut to an old looking, small room, quite like a basement. Computer screens lie to one side, surrounded by desks, and a small sofa area covered in papers and magazines on the other side. A glass box lies against a wall with a small padlock on its’ door. There also appears to be some sort of kitchen area, made of a sink, some cupboards, and a coffee machine. While the walls look aged, all furniture and equipment seems new and well-kept. The two teenagers, Greg and Charley, sit on spinning chairs by the desks. Greg has his head in his hands and Charley is looking upwards, spinning slowly around.

Greg

Charley, I thought it supposedly couldn’t fail. A simple plan, you said. I never really got how it was supposed to work anyway.

Charley

The bible is like, the holiest thing going. If anything was gonna work then it’d be that.

Greg

I didn’t really get the hitting though.

Charley

Bible bashers mean anything to you?

Greg

That’s a whole different thing! Look, I want Laurence back just as much as you do but hitting him with a thick book ain’t gonna do much now is it?

Charley

Guess not. What other ideas do you have then?

CUT-IN: Charley in a class, looking out of the window. Twenty other people in the classroom, including Greg who is seated to her side. She appears to snap back out of her daydream and turns to one of the last pages in her notebook. She puts the title “Ideas” and begins scribbling notes down. Her teacher, Clare, a dark-haired woman in her early to mid twenties, is staring at her from her desk. She gets up and begins checking on everyone while heading towards Charley.
